Logitech Gaming Software is meant for Logitech customers who own a G-series mouse, a G-series keyboard, or a G-series headset. The software can be used to monitor G-series devices, to customize how G-series devices work, and to make sure that G-series devices have the latest firmware. Everything is done from a good looking and dark-themed interface that’s incredibly easy to use.

Logitech Gaming Software is fully compatible with 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1, and Windows 10. Installing the software is as straightforward and simple as it can possibly be; just download an installer, run it, and a setup wizard will take you through all the steps. During the installation process you will be asked if you want to get Overwolf, a tool that offers in-game apps and services. When the installation process completes, you’ll be asked to get Arx Control, an iOS and Android app that connects to Logitech Gaming Software to display system statistics and exclusive in-game display information.

As you can see from the Quick Look video that accompanies this article, I have a G403 Prodigy wireless mouse and a G533 wireless headset. Thanks to Logitech Gaming Software, I can keep an eye on both devices at once so that I never run out of battery at an inopportune time. Focusing on the mouse alone, I can use Logitech Gaming Software to customize the RGB lightning on the mouse, to configure how the buttons work, to specify what the special DPI cycle button does, to adjust the DPI sensitivity, and more. And focusing on the headsets alone, I can use Logitech Gaming Software to assign a function to the special G-button, to set custom equalizer settings, and to enable/disable surround sound.
